PriceTally, one keystroke away.
The PriceTally Search extension is the same price comparison you use here — moved into your browser's address bar. Type a product, pick the PriceTally suggestion, and land straight on every store's price.
Price checks where you already type
Product searches surface a PriceTally suggestion right in the address bar — one click to the full store-by-store comparison.
Enter still searches Bing
Pressing Enter always searches Microsoft Bing for exactly what you typed. PriceTally rows only appear for product searches — never as the default.
Search — and nothing else
The extension does one thing: search. No page tracking, no injected content, no popups. Suggestions come from the same service that powers this site.
Add PriceTally Search to Chrome
Free. Sets PriceTally Search, powered by Microsoft Bing, as your default search.
Add to ChromeWhat this extension changes
- It changes your browser’s default search engine to PriceTally Search (listed as “PriceTally” in your search engine settings). Searches from the address bar go through PriceTally Search and the results are provided by Microsoft Bing. Pressing Enter always runs a Bing search for exactly what you typed.
- While you type, suggestions come from Microsoft Bing. For product searches we add a “Compare prices” row, plus a “Price-drop watch” row when it’s a product we already track — you only go to PriceTally if you pick one.
- It asks for no permissions: it can’t read the pages you visit, your tabs or your history.
- To undo: remove the extension (open
chrome://extensions→ PriceTally Search → Remove) and your previous search engine comes back. You can also review your search engines atchrome://settings/searchEngines.
